The Ballroom Library is Bidding Farewell
After more than a decade of serving the dance community, the Dance Library website is officially closing its doors.
When we started this project over 10 years ago, our mission was to gather and preserve valuable knowledge about dance. However, times change, reading habits have shifted, and the overall demand for books has significantly decreased. To ensure that we fully respect and protect the copyrights of all authors and publishers, we have decided that it is time to sunset this chapter.
The original vision for the website has reached its natural conclusion. However, the learning doesn't have to stop:
- Video materials: Most of the instructional videos previously referenced on our site can easily be found available for free across YouTube.
- Looking for specific books? If you are interested in any publications, you can reach out directly to the respective authors.
This includes me, Denis Parfyonov—author of several dance publications available in our archive. Feel free to contact me directly regarding my books or any questions you might have.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who has read, learned, and danced with us over the past 10+ years. Every end is a new beginning, and perhaps one day we will return with a fresh idea and a new format for the community.
Thank you for being part of our journey.
